Community Capacity Builders' Community Leadership Program was developed to support South Australia's Strategic Plan.
The Community Leadership Program was developed at the same time as South Australia's first Strategic Plan was being developed. This connection is highlighted in the Program's three target outcomes:
- Participants develop a collaborative community capacity building project to address an issue of their choice
- Participants bridge their project to the strategic plans of government, and
- Participants develop skills to participate in multi-stakeholder community visioning and planning processes
